Has anyone observed an analog wind sensor clipping for the wind direction?

Clint,
We had this problem at Palmer and Windless Bight, it can be caused by several things the easiest one is the dead band in the direction pot. The second most common cause is not using differential inputs and having line losses in the direction cables. If you are set up for zero volts is 0 degrees and 360 degrees is 5 volts but do not have 5 volts back at the digitizer input then it will appear to clip.
