Sounds of Hurricane Juan

I am an acoustician with the Government of Canada at DRDC - Atlantic in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. I am also a Fellow of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA).

I recently made a professional audio recording of the sounds of Hurricane Juan as it passed over my home town on 28-29 September 2003. I am currently doing a search to see if any other researchers have published this type of acoustics before as I am interested in publishing a paper to JASA. I have been in contact with Louis Sutherland, ASA Associate Editor (AE) for Atmospheric Acoustics, and he is not aware of any publications of this type in his 14 years as AE.

I was hoping that someone familiar with this field of acoustics at Scripps might be able to assist me in my search for relevant papers. I would like to avoid repeating something that may have already been publically disclosed to researchers in this field.

Thank you for your help in this matter.
