To celebrate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda which is also known as Nation Youth Day PM Narendra Modi in Puducherry will inaugurate the 25th National Youth Festival.
Today 12th January is the National Youth Day 2022 of India on the occasion of the 160th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. A country’s bright future and ability to work depends on the number of young people in the country. In this respect, India is at the top, surpassing China, the world most populous country. According to the UNDP, there are 121 crore youth worldwide, of which 21 percent are Indians. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a technology center of the MSME ministry with an investment of Rs 122 crore at Puduchary. The government has said that the technology will be used to train the youth and 6400 trainees will be trained every year.
He will also inaugurate the Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Manimandapam- an auditorium with open-air theatre build at a cost of Rs 23 crore.
There are planes for a national youth conference with a panel discussion on environment, climate and SDG-led growth, technology initiatives and innovative indigenous and ancient knowledge. There will be open discussions with Olympians and Paralympians, followed by live performances and a virtual yoga session. PM Narendra Modi will unveil selected essays on ‘Mere Sapno ka Bharat’ and ‘Unsung Heroes of Indian Freedom Movement’ as part of the National Youth Festival.
