ICC Awards: Shaheen Shah Afridi Wins the Sir Garfield Sobers Award of the Year 2021

In ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year 2021 is Pakistani fast bowler Shaheen shah afridi. The announcement was made by the ICC on Monday. The Pakistani fast bowler has taken 78 wickets at an average of 22.20 in 36 international matches in 2021. His best bowling figures are 6 for 51.

Pakistan reached the final of the T20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates. Shaheen shah afridi was seen in great rhythm with the ball in hand throughout the tournament. This Pak bowler impressed everyone with his great speed and skill. He took 7 wickets in 6 matches as Pakistan advanced to the semifinals. In the last calendar year, he has shown great power in T20 format.
